The Project Engineer supports the Senior Project Engineer in achieving safe, timely, and high-quality project completion within budget.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist the SPE and Construction Manager to ensure the project is delivered to cost & time with resources needed leading to a high level of client satisfaction\nIdentify and assess risk to the project as well as the implementation of strategies to mitigate risk\nCost and forecast control to assist the project managers with strategic planning\nBuild effective and & collaborative relationships to coordinate activities with supervisors\nMaintaining quality, environmental, and safety systems across the project\nLiaise with subcontractors to monitor and control their performance ensuring the quality and standard of workmanship performed both on and off site is in accordance with the specifications and relevant procedures\nManage construction budgets to allow accurately profit / loss forecasting and monitors the financial performance for certain aspects of the project\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nTertiary qualified in Civil Engineering or similar\nDemonstrated experience with forecasting and budgeting\nReviews design and translates to written plans and drawings illustrating construction methodologies, and\nAbility to develop project delivery plans. Evaluates and estimates commercial and technical risk.\nManage specific engineering tasks independently and contributes to the development of project plans and schedules.
