You will report to the Construction Manager and support the Senior Project Engineer to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes within budget. You will manage specific engineering tasks independently, from planning and surveying to procurement and quality control, with minimal supervision.\nYou will also contribute to tenders and bids, develop construction methods and use digital models to plan site activities. It suits an engineer who wants broad project exposure, genuine ownership and a clear view of how projects are won and delivered.\nKey accountabilities for the position will be:\nDevelop a logical work breakdown structure for the scope of work, so activities can be planned and monitored.\nAnalyse the project schedule to identify the critical path, float and sequence of works, and manage procurement, delivery and site constraints to keep work on track.\nDevelop construction methods and engineering plans from approved designs.\nUse digital models to plan and coordinate site activities.\nPrepare clear project proposals with accurate cost and resource estimates.\nCoordinate and control engineering works through inspection, scheduling and surveying.\nReport accurately on project progress, costs and risks.\nMonitor quality, safety and environmental requirements against ACCIONA standards.\nIdentify and evaluate project risks and develop mitigation strategies.\nContribute to team or unit initiatives that resolve common issues or barriers to effectiveness.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nDegree in Civil Engineering or similar\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in similar role\nDemonstrated experience with piling environment highly desirable\nExperience as a project-based engineer in industry related disciplines such as ground engineering, rail and/or associated civil infrastructure\nAbility to undertake a successful Pre-employment medical and National Crime Check.\nACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
