Through its innovative operating model, which delivers affordable and sustainable services with the active participation of local communities, acciona.org has helped nearly 200,000 people gain access to these essential basic services across Peru, Mexico, Panama, Chile, the Philippines, Ethiopia, South Africa, the Dominican Republic, and Spain.Learn more at www.acciona.org.\nJob Description\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nConduct community engagement activities, including consultations, meetings, trainings, workshops, selection of user representatives, supervision of installations, and other community-based initiatives.\nSupport the receipt, inventory, and safekeeping of project equipment, including the identification of suitable storage facilities within communities, and other field logistics and procurement activities.\nCoordinate logistical requirements related to the transport, distribution, and installation of Solar Home Systems (SHS).\nAssist in the identification, assessment, design, and procurement of installation infrastructure and related project requirements.\nSupport the selection and onboarding of the local entrepreneur responsible for operating the Users Assistance Center (UAC), and provide ongoing technical and administrative support as needed.\nBuild and strengthen partnerships with barangay and municipal local government units, community leaders, NGOs, electric cooperatives, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders.\nAssist in identifying opportunities for project scaling through needs assessments, project conceptualization, planning, and proposal development.\nEnsure project activities are implemented on time, with quality, and in accordance with approved work plans, while maintaining effective coordination with project partners and stakeholders.\nContribute to the preparation of project proposals, reports, case studies, and communication materials.\nPerform finance and administrative tasks, including the preparation of purchase requests, processing and liquidation of cash advances, and maintaining proper documentation and records.\nSafeguard and responsibly manage project funds, equipment, assets, and other organizational resources.\nPrepare activity reports and maintain accurate project documentation.\nUndertake other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nAt least 4.5 years of professional experience in community development, community organizing, stakeholder management and sustainable development.\nBachelor's Degree in Community Development, Engineering, Project Management, social sciences, or a related field.\nStrong project implementation, monitoring, and reporting skills.\nExcellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently in remote and field-based environments.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in English, Tagalog, and Bisaya is an advantage.\nDesirable: Background in energy supply technologies (solar) and WASH ( Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) projects.\nOTHER REQUIREMENTS:\nLeadership, initiative, and the ability to work in a team.\nAble to work independently and collaboratively through face-to-face and virtual engagement.\nWillingness to travel to remote areas.\nKnowledge of the political, social and cultural context of the area.\nCommitment to the values and mission of the foundation.\nACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2024 & 2025 certification in Philippines.
