Working within a highly skilled maintenance team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliable operation and performance of one of our renewable energy assets.Job Description\nAbout the Role\nReporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance activities across the solar farm and associated balance-of-plant infrastructure. You will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the facility while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on solar farm infrastructure and equipment.\nInspect, maintain and repair PV systems, inverters, battery storage systems, substations and associated balance-of-plant assets.\nConduct HV and substation inspections, repairs and switching operations.\nSupport commissioning, testing, fault finding and operational activities.\nMonitor, supervise and audit contractor works to ensure quality and safety standards are met.\nAccurately record maintenance activities using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), including Maximo and HSEQ platforms.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical investigations.\nMaintain site vehicles, tools and equipment in a safe and serviceable condition.\nParticipate in an on-call roster supporting a 24/7 operating environment.\nUphold ACCIONA's strong commitment to health, safety, quality and environmental performance.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nTrade qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical or a related discipline.\nA current Queensland \"A Grade\" Electrical Licence or the ability to obtain one (highly desirable for electrical trades).\nMinimum 3-5 years post-trade experience.\nExperience performing maintenance in industrial, energy, utilities, mining or renewable energy environments.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nSound computer literacy and experience using Microsoft Office applications.\nCurrent manual driver's licence.\nThe ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.\nA commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and promoting a positive safety culture. \nPrivileged Access Workers (PAW's) are required to obtain satisfactory results from Acciona's Suitability Assessment prior to commencement, this forms part of our standard pre-employment checks.\nDesirable Qualifications\nFirst Aid certification.\nWorking at Heights certification.\nHV Switching or HV Operator experience.\nExperience with solar, battery storage, substation or renewable energy assets.\nAs a company that values diversity as a source of talent, we work to foster an inclusive environment that promotes respect, belonging and engagement so that all people can participate on an equal opportunity basis.
