The role provides engineering expertise, focusing on the mechanical side, to assist maintenance activities and resolve technical issues.Job Description\nKey Responsibilities\nHealth & Safety\nActively engage in ACCIONA’s Health & Safety practices, take personal responsibility for maintaining a safe and secure workplace, and support the people around you in upholding these standards.\nRole Responsibilities\nProvide expert engineering support to all operational assets, focusing on the mechanical side, such as drivetrains and structures.\nManage reliability engineering programs across all operational sites, incorporating key principles of condition-based and optimised maintenance.\nUndertake Root Cause Analysis investigations on failed or faulting equipment.\nAnalyse plant performance and maintenance data to identify and address issues and maximize efficiency.\nLiaise with ACCIONA Energia Global Engineering, equipment suppliers and OEMs to resolve engineering issues.\nEnsure the use of the HSE and environmental policy through the Engineering team.\nReview operational data for purposes of trend analysis, fault finding and continuous improvement.\nManage programs of retrofits, upgrades and asset changes at all operational sites.\nMaintain an engineering document library for knowledge sharing within the operations group.\nSupport internal asset management functions in the development, implementation, and review of the asset management plan.\nWork closely with members of the Operations team and across generation sites to uplift and deliver high quality and effective maintenance practices.\nComply with relevant OHS policies.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nMust have completed a Bachelor degree or equivalent technical competence in mechanical engineering.\nRelevant experience in a reliability engineering or related role, ideally within the renewable sector.\nExposure to other related engineering practice such as electrical, civil, or wind resource considered advantageous.\nExposure to ACCIONA wind technology, modelling, and business systems advantageous.\nAdvanced communication skills and proven interpersonal abilities in a professional setting.\nWell organized and able to manage changing priorities.\nMust be able to travel for training and meetings to various locations (including international).\nExperience with Maximo or a similar maintenance management system an advantage. \nExperience with AEMO operational requirements an advantage.\nAs a company that values diversity as a source of talent, we work to foster an inclusive environment that promotes respect, belonging and engagement so that all people can participate on an equal opportunity basis.
