Cobra is divided into four main sectors of activity, Networks, Specialised installations, integrated projects and concession assets.\nACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by Energy Co to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.\nThe Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Transmission Project will build new high-capacity transmission lines, energy hubs and supporting infrastructure to transfer power generated by solar and wind projects to electricity consumers. The new infrastructure is expected to be operational by 2028 and will initially unlock up to 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity.\nThe project consists of 90km of 500kV overhead transmission lines and 150 km of 330kV transmission lines for generator connections, stretching from Elong Elong in the west through to Barigan Creek in the east, via an energy hub at Merotherie.\nKey Responsibilities\nWe're looking for a dedicated Safety Coordinator to bring hands-on HSE support to our Central-West Orana team. You'll be a visible presence on site, helping embed safe ways of working and supporting the wider team when it matters most. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:\nCommunicating HSE requirements on site.\n\nAssisting in monitoring day to day site activities to ensure safety compliance.\n\nReporting any key issues to the site Safety Manager.\n\nAssisting incident investigations and report to appropriate personnel.\n\nAssisting in site consultation, such as toolbox talks and daily pre-start briefings\n\nParticipating in WHS audits.\n\nLeading by example by promoting a positive work health and safety culture.\n\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nYou're an HSE professional who's comfortable working across a large, fast-moving construction site. To be successful, you'll bring:\n2+ years' experience on large-scale construction projects, ideally including renewable energy projects and high-risk workplaces.\n\nCert IV in Work Health and Safety, as a minimum.\n\nSafety Lead Auditor qualification (desirable).\n\nThis Safety Coordinator role is bus-in, bus-out, with camp-style accommodation provided on a 14 days on/7 days off roster, based out of the Central West Orana Region.\nWe welcome applicants of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
