Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.\nJob Description\nDesign and deliver civil infrastructure solutions using 12D Model, with a focus on road alignment and earthworks\n\nCollaborate with Engineers, designers, and stakeholders to produce practical, cost-effective designs across multiple civil disciplines\n\nFlexible location across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, or Perth.\n\nThe Opportunity\nDue to continued strong growth and the award of several new projects supporting critical infrastructure across Australia we are seeking a Senior 12D Design Engineer with strong road alignment experience to join our team.\nAs a 12D Design Engineer, you will play a key role within our engineering team, delivering high-quality designs using 12D Model software. Working collaboratively with Engineers and fellow designers, you will produce detailed designs across a range of civil disciplines, including earthworks, roads, drainage and stormwater, sewer, and water infrastructure.\nThis role offers flexibility of location and may be based in Acciona offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, or Perth.\nKey Accountabilities\nProduce design models and documentation using the latest versions of 12D Model and AutoCAD\n\nDevelop innovative and efficient design modelling solutions, keeping pace with emerging industry technologies\n\nEngage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver practical, cost-effective engineering outcomes\n\nCollaborate with other designers to develop, maintain, and improve design and modelling standards\n\nIdentify and forecast risks, opportunities, and scope variances within assigned works\n\nPrepare design inputs for estimating activities, including quantities and take-offs as required\n\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nTertiary qualifications in Engineering or an equivalent discipline\n\nStrong proficiency in 12D Model, with experience in areas such as macro programming, snippet creation, and chains highly regarded\n\nProven experience delivering 12D civil designs, particularly road alignment, within a design consultancy environment\n\nSolid understanding of road design principles and alignment methodologies\n\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels\n\nExperience with alternative design platforms (e.g. OpenRoads) will also be considered for the right candidate.\n\nACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
