As a global leader in water infrastructure, we combine innovation, technical excellence, and a strong commitment to safety and sustainability to transform how essential services are delivered.\nWe are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our growing Commercial team in a national role, supporting projects and operations across Australia. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial, you will play a key role in managing commercial and contractual obligations across a portfolio of major water and infrastructure projects.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven contracts professional who enjoys working across multiple projects and stakeholders. You will provide commercial, contractual and administrative support throughout the project lifecycle, helping drive successful commercial outcomes while ensuring contractual compliance and effective risk management.\nKey Responsibilities\nAdminister head contracts and subcontract agreements across multiple projects nationally.\nManage contract correspondence, notices, registers and contractual documentation.\nSupport the preparation and negotiation of variations, claims and extensions of time.\nAssist in identifying, managing and mitigating contractual risks.\nPrepare and administer subcontract agreements and purchase orders.\nReview subcontractor claims, payment applications and variations.\nMonitor subcontractor performance and contractual compliance.\nSupport commercial reporting and project performance reviews.\nAssist bid and tender teams by reviewing contract requirements and coordinating commercial inputs.\nCollaborate with project managers, procurement teams, finance, legal advisors and operational stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with ACCIONA governance, policies and contractual obligations\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nTo be successful in this role, you will bring:\nDegree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.\nMinimum 7 years' experience in contract administration or commercial roles within construction, infrastructure, utilities, water or engineering environments.\nStrong understanding of contract management principles and project delivery models.\nExperience administering major construction and infrastructure contracts.\nStrong commercial acumen and subcontract management experience.\nExcellent analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.\nA proactive and collaborative approach with a focus on delivering results\nACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
