Strong document control keeps engineering, construction, quality and commercial teams aligned with clients and subcontractors. This role sits in the project office in Metro Melbourne and sets the standard for how project information is managed and shared.\nAbout the Opportunity\nYou will lead document control for the project and set the procedures others follow. You will mentor Document Controllers and project administrators, train teams on systems and governance, and act as the central contact for document issues. You will audit documentation, track turnaround times and overdue approvals, and report on performance. You will also improve workflows and drive consistency across the project. It is a role with real influence over how information moves between teams, clients and subcontractors.\nKey accountabilities for the position will be:\nLead document control across the project and set clear procedures\nMentor Document Controllers and project administrators, and train teams on systems\nManage numbering, revision control, transmittals and workflows in the project system\nProtect document integrity, security and traceability through audits and quality checks\nMeet contractual, ISO and company document requirements across the project\nPartner with project teams, clients and subcontractors to resolve document issues\nReport on turnaround times and overdue approvals, and improve workflows\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nCertificate IV or Diploma in records or business administration\nDocument control experience on infrastructure or major projects\nExperience managing project documents in a recognised system\nAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and SharePoint\nDesirable: records, information or document control certification\nLocation and conditions\nThis is a regional role and includes the provision to be based at camp as required.\nWhy join us?\nAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
