Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.\nJob Description\nJoin the project during a critical growth phase and establish best-practice financial, reporting and control processes from the ground up.\nPlay a pivotal leadership role on one of Victoria's most significant infrastructure projects, driving finance, commercial governance and project controls across a multi-billion-dollar development.\nPartner with executive leadership, shareholders, lenders and government stakeholders .\nThe Opportunity\nACCIONA is seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Finance to play a pivotal leadership role on a landmark Victorian project. Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead the finance, commercial, governance and project controls functions, providing strategic oversight across project development and delivery activities.\nThis is a rare opportunity to join one of Australia's most significant infrastructure projects, working at the intersection of project finance, major infrastructure delivery, investor relations, governance and commercial performance.\nYou will partner with executive leadership, shareholders, lenders, government stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure the successful financial and commercial management of a complex, multi-billion-dollar project.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead all finance, commercial governance, compliance and project controls activities across the project.\nOversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management and long-term financial planning.\nManage project finance obligations, including funding arrangements, lender compliance, financial close activities and financial model oversight.\nPrepare and present Board papers, shareholder reports and strategic financial recommendations to senior stakeholders.\nLead relationships with investors, lenders, government agencies, auditors, advisors and key project stakeholders.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nExtensive senior finance leadership experience within major infrastructure, PPP, energy, construction or other large-scale capital project environments.\nStrong expertise in project finance, including financial close, funding management, lender engagement and financing compliance.\nDemonstrated success managing large project budgets, financial performance, cost controls and governance frameworks.\nExceptional stakeholder engagement skills with experience presenting to Boards, investors, lenders and government representatives.\nCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification, supported by tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline\nACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
