Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.\nJob Description\nProject Information\nClean Energy Link - North is a $342 million Western Power program building transmission lines and substations across Perth's north to unlock up to 1GW of new renewable energy for WA. This role covers cost control across CEL North program, both part of the state's transmission network upgrade.\nAbout the Opportunity\nYou will lead the cost control function across two flagship WA transmission programs, CEL North from ACCIONA's Malaga project office. Own project budgets, cost forecasts and cash flow projections, applying earned value principles to track performance and flag variances early. You will support change control and risk processes where they affect cost, and work closely with delivery, commercial and financial leads to keep forecasts and contract valuations accurate. You will also mentor Project Controls Engineers and Cost Engineers. It's a senior, hands-on role with genuine influence over how two major transmission programs are costed and controlled.\nKey accountabilities for the position will be:\nOwn project budgets, cost control processes and the cost breakdown structure\nPrepare accurate cost forecasts, cash flow projections and monthly reporting\nApply earned value metrics to track and report project cost performance\nManage cost impacts arising from change, risk and procurement decisions\nSupport contract valuation, claims and variation assessments with commercial leads\nMentor and develop Project Controls Engineers and Cost Engineers\nLead adoption of ACCIONA's cost planning and forecasting ways of working\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nWhat capability and experience will you need to have:\nBachelor's degree in engineering, construction or related field\nFive years' experience in cost control and forecasting\nExperience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) principles\nAdvanced skills in Excel, Power BI and reporting tools\nExperience managing cost impacts from risk and change\nAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
