Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.\nJob Description\nBenefits\nLead survey on a greenfield rail project from design to build\nOwn the link between design models and site delivery\nGrow with ACCIONA leadership pathways and training support\nProject Information:\nACCIONA is part of CoastalTraX, delivering the greenfield works for Stage 1 of The Wave: 19 kilometres of dual-track passenger rail between Beerwah and Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast. Backed by $5.5 billion in joint government funding, the project is part of Queensland’s infrastructure pipeline ahead of Brisbane 2032 and is now in design and preconstruction.\nAbout the Opportunity:\nYou will lead the survey function on the greenfield works, reporting to the Construction Manager. As the link between design and site, you will model, review and refine design options with the construction team. Guide your surveying team and subcontractors, run mass haul modelling and spatial analysis, and test site conditions against upcoming program milestones. With the project in design and preconstruction, you can create the data systems and survey practices from the start. You will also keep the wider team across new construction technologies and data capture methods.\nKey accountabilities for the position will be:\nLead survey delivery from early planning through to completion\nModel and review design data, including mass haul and spatial analysis\nOversee construction layout, topographic mapping and boundary retracement\nGuide and mentor surveyors and manage survey subcontractors\nMaintain accurate survey data, as-built records and quality controls\nManage survey resources, budgets and schedules against program milestones\nResolve survey discrepancies and work with clients and project stakeholders\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nWhat capability and experience will you need to have:\nRegistration as a surveyor\nDiploma in Engineering Surveying or equivalent qualification\nSurveying experience in the civil construction industry\nAdvanced 12d or Terramodel skills for modelling and datasets\nProven ability to lead surveyors and produce method statements\nAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
