The role will be key to ensuring the proper planning, coordination, design management and technical assurance of temporary works required for the safe construction of bridge structures, including marine and over-water temporary structures, in line with project needs, technical specifications, safety standards and operational requirements.Job Description\nJob Description:\nThe Temporary Works Design Manager is responsible for leading the design, coordination, and technical assurance of all temporary works required to safely construct the bridge structures. This includes marine platforms, falsework, formwork, launching gantries, cofferdams, piling templates, working platforms, lifting systems, and access structures in challenging offshore or over-water environments.\nReports To: Design Manager\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the design, coordination, and delivery of all temporary works for marine bridge construction activities.\n\nDevelop safe, efficient, and constructible temporary works solutions including cofferdams, falsework, formwork, working platforms, piling frames, lifting systems, and marine access structures.\n\nReview design briefs, engineering requirements, and construction methodologies to define temporary works scope and objectives.\n\nEnsure temporary works designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.\n\nCoordinate integration of temporary works with permanent works design and construction sequencing.\n\nLiaise with permanent works designers, consultants, and subcontractors.\n\nLead the establishment of the construction temporary works design basis, ensuring the incorporation of all construction loads.\n\nParticipate in and contribute to project risk workshops.\n\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nRequirements:\nTotal Experience: 15 years\nExperience in similar position: 10 years\nStrong structural engineering knowledge of temporary works systems in marine construction environments and offshore conditions.\nDegree in Civil Engineering\nProfessional English\nKey Competencies\nLeadership and team management.\nProblem-solving and decision-making.\nCommunication and stakeholder management in multicultural environments.\nACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2024 & 2025 certification in Philippines.
