ACCIONA Energía is governed by the most demanding environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria.\nACCIONA Energía is seeking a Wind Farm Site Manager to lead wind farm operations and maintenance, oversee site personnel and contractors, and maximize wind turbine availability and reliability. This role is responsible for promoting a safe and efficient work environment, supporting technician development, managing operational budgets, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.Job Description\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead and supervise wind farm employees and contractors to ensure safe, efficient operations and maximize turbine availability.\nProvide training and technical support to Wind Turbine Technicians in troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and equipment commissioning.\nOversee preventive and predictive maintenance activities, including equipment inspections and condition assessments.\nConduct and review safety analyses, manage site safety training, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout procedures.\nEnsure compliance with applicable safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements while maintaining facility and equipment cleanliness.\nPerform and oversee root cause analyses to identify equipment failure modes and determine contributing factors.\nManage site inventory, including tools, consumables, and spare parts.\nMaintain employee training records, certifications, and qualifications, along with accurate maintenance documentation and operational records.\nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on wind farm performance, maintenance activities, and operating costs.\nDevelop and manage annual operating budgets, monitor expenditures, and prepare financial reports related to operations and maintenance.\nRepresent ACCIONA Energía in professional settings and maintain positive relationships with local communities, public officials, landowners, and regulatory stakeholders.\nOther responsibilities as assigned.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nQualifications:\n5+ years of operations and maintenance experience in the energy industry; renewable energy experience and 2- or 4-year technical degree preferred.\n2-5 years of leadership experience required, including experience with supervising teams, managing contractors, and coordinating operational priorities.\nKnowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, including the ability to perform or direct switching and lockout/tagout procedures on wind farm equipment.\nAbility to obtain certification for low- and medium-voltage equipment.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor wind farm performance and reliability.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports, budgets, and presentations.\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with JD Edwards and Maximo is required.\nValid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and ability to obtain a U.S. passport.\nPay & Benefits:\nBase Pay: $110,000 - $150,000 (based on experience, education, and skillset).\n15% Annual Performance Bonus (based on individual performance and company metrics) and 5% Availability Bonus.\nDay 1 Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), HSA company contributions, and FSA options. \nBenefits after 90 days: 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting, life insurance, disability coverage, paid parental leave, and other optional plans.\n15 days of PTO (with 1 additional day per year of service), 9 public holidays, and 2 flexible holidays.\n$50 monthly reimbursement for health, wellness, or fitness-related memberships and equipment.\nWorking Conditions:\nAll site technicians are provided with the necessary tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) to work safely and efficiently.\nAll turbines are fitted with lifts to support elevated work tasks and reduce physical strain.\nMay lift and handle up to 50 pounds and climb vertical ladders to heights of 300 feet.\nMay travel domestically and internationally for extended periods as operational needs require.\nJob Location:\nLa Chalupa/Palmas Altas Wind Farm\n18551 North Olmito Rd.,\nRio Hondo, TX 78583\nPhysical Requirements, Accommodations, & Accessibility Statement\nSeeing & Comprehension: Ability to read and comprehend documents, reports, computer screens, and other written or electronic information.
