You will champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and drive automation across customer development, testing, and production environments, ensuring operational excellence, security and stability.\nKey Responsibilities:\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using OpenTofu (or Terraform).\nConfiguration Management: Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for configuration management, patch deployment, and software provisioning on various compute resources.\nContainer Orchestration: Manage and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes (e.g., EKS) and related tooling.\nSource Control & Collaboration: Utilize Git for version control, branching strategies, and collaborative development within a CI/CD pipeline.\nAutomation: Write and maintain scripts, primarily in Python, to automate routine tasks, integrate systems, and enhance operational efficiency.\nAWS Expertise: Architect and manage core AWS services (e.g., EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.) to meet mission requirements for performance, cost, and security.\nMonitoring & Logging: Implement and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system health and rapid incident response.\nSecurity & Compliance: Apply security best practices to the cloud environment, ensuring compliance with STE/STN standards.\n Required Qualifications:6+ years of professional experience working in a Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering role. \nProven practical experience with AWS - certification as AWS Certified Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer (or relevant cloud cert) will be required\nExpertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically with OpenTofu and/or Terraform.\nStrong hands-on experience managing and deploying applications on Kubernetes.\nProficiency in using Ansible for configuration management and automation.\nAdvanced skills in Git and experience with modern branching/merge request workflows.\nBeginner to intermediate scripting skills in Python for automation tasks.\nSolid understanding of networking concepts, STE/STN principles, and CI/CD pipelines.\nA Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline.
