You will use your coding and cloud computing skills to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, efficient web applications for the customer's users. You will also maintain data pipelines, add new data sources, and work with counterparts at other government agencies to deliver reliable tools that support the mission.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop new architecture to meet the cloud requirements of the customer's web applications.\nImplement custom cloud functionality using Python, Java, and JavaScript.\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications, and assist with deploying web tools to the customer's cloud architecture.\nPerform operations and maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of web applications in both internal and outward-facing cloud environments.\nCustomize existing tools and build new ones for displaying, retrieving, and analyzing data in the web environment.\nImprove the speed, visual display quality, and interactive behavior of web delivery methods.\nProgram customized code, scripts, modules, and libraries for analysis functions, and update existing code as needed.\nMaintain the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process that pulls data from various sources, normalizes it, and stores it.\nAdd new data sources based on customer requirements, monitor existing sources, and troubleshoot and fix issues as they arise.\nWork with counterparts in other government agencies to identify and ingest data.\nTest and troubleshoot software solutions in a development/test environment.\nProvide metadata, commented code, user manuals, system requirements, system security plans, and other documentation for future users.\nCreate and deliver program and project artifacts and deliverables.\nSupport the customer's strategic and tactical planning activities.\nRequired Qualifications:Demonstrated professional experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and C++.\nExperience with cloud computing services from a major provider, including cloud-based development and deployment.\nExperience with database management systems such as Oracle.\nExperience with version control systems such as Git.\nExperience with web development frameworks and technologies such as Flask and Django.\nExperience working on Agile development teams.\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills.\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related field, plus 5 years of relevant experience. maybe accepted in place of degree\nPreferred Qualifications: Experience with the customer's enterprise services, security controls, and data management practices.\nFamiliarity with outward-facing cloud environments and outward-facing applications.\nExperience with APIs and data management tools or structures.\nExperience with ETL processes and ingesting data from multiple sources.\nPrior experience supporting the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense.\nABOUT\nAcclaim Technical Services (ATS), founded in 2000, is a premier provider of tech-enabled solutions and operational services to a broad range of U.S. Federal agencies.
