The candidate must have strong, firsthand technical expertise in a variety of big data technologies and the proven ability to fashion robust scalable solutions that can manage large data sets. The candidate must be at ease working in an Agile environment with little supervision. This person should embody a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies.\nProvide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.\nTroubleshoots complex problems and provides customer support for software systems and application issues.\nProvide recommendations for continuous improvement.\nWork alongside other engineers on the team to sustain and advance our organization’s capabilities.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.\n10 to 15 years of related software engineering experience. \nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nHands-on experience with modern programming languages including Python or NodeJS.\nHands-on experience working with Elastic Search, Mongo DB, Docker, Kubernetes, Rabbit MQ, and Nifi.\nDevOps experience building and deploying cloud infrastructure with technologies such as Ansible, Cloud Formation, etc.\nTS/SCI with Polygraph \nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience with building APIs and services using REST\nExperience with monitoring technologies like ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.\nExperience with build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc.\nExperience with Linux (preferred)\nTarget Salary Range: $175k-$215kThe salary range for this position is between $200,000 and $220,000\nABOUT\nAcclaim Technical Services (ATS), founded in 2000, is a premier provider of tech-enabled solutions and operational services to a broad range of U.S. Federal agencies.
