Chennai city Centre is easily accessible to guests via the highway.\n Primary Responsibilities \nAccounts Payable\nEnsure that invoices are correctly coded, posted into system, and adequately attached with relevant documents such as Purchases Orders, Banquet Event Orders etc\nEnsure that all payment requisitions are approved by relevant Department Heads or Division Heads\nEnsure that journal entries interfaced from Cost Control/Receiving Office are correct\nPost all manual cheques into the system\nSchedule and make electronic payment according to approved policies & procedures\nEnsure that all expenses for the month are posted and necessary accruals made\nEnsure that Accounts Payable aging tally with General Ledger\nUpdate creditors’ reconciliation to ensure our records tally with creditor’s statement\nCheck daily F&B invoices interfaced from Cost Control to ensure accuracy of prices, quantities against delivery orders and purchase orders\nMake accurate and timely payment to creditors according to approved policies & procedures\nEnsure that payment advices are sent out to creditors on time\nOther Responsibilities\nBe aware of the hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures\nAttend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management\nMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times\nPerform other reasonable duties assigned by the assigned by the Management\nMain Complexity/Critical issues in the Job\nEnsure accuracy and efficiency of processing and monitoring payments.\n Knowledge and Experience\nDegree/Diploma in Accounting / Finance\nMinimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity\nGood reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language\nProficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and relevant
