Financial Reporting\nYou will oversee the daily operations of the Accounting Department, coordinate statutory and tax reporting, manage month-end and year-end closing, and maintain effective internal controls. You will also create a collaborative environment in which colleagues feel trusted, supported and inspired to grow.\nLead, motivate and develop the Accounting Team, fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.\nOversee the daily operations of the Accounting Department, ensuring an accurate and efficient workflow.\nManage month-end and year-end closing processes in line with the agreed timetable.\nPrepare statutory financial statements and month-end Profit and Loss reports.\n2. Accounts Payable & Receivable\nSupervise and review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.\nEnsure timely processing of invoices, payments and collections.\nMonitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.\nEnsure proper documentation and approval of financial transactions.\n3. Income Audit & Revenue Control\nReview daily revenue reconciliation from Front Office, F&B and other revenue-generating departments.\nVerify cash, credit card and other payment transactions.\nInvestigate discrepancies and ensure corrective action is taken.\nEnsure proper controls over hotel revenue and cash handling.\n4. Budget & Cost Control\nAssist in preparing the annual budget and financial forecasts.\nMonitor departmental expenses against approved budgets.\nAnalyse variances and provide recommendations to management.\nSupport effective cost-control initiatives throughout the hotel.\n5. Internal Controls & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with hotel policies, accounting standards and financial procedures.\nAssist with internal, external and statutory audits.\nMaintain proper financial records and supporting documentation.\nIdentify financial risks and recommend appropriate control measures.\n6. Payroll & HR Coordination\nAssist in reviewing monthly payroll and related financial reports.\nVerify payroll-related costs, deductions and supporting documents.\nWork closely with Human Resources to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.\n7. Inventory & Stock Control\nAssist in monitoring food, beverage, operating supplies and other hotel inventories.\nReview inventory reports and investigate significant variances.\nSupport regular stock-taking and ensure proper inventory controls.\n8. Team Supervision\nSupervise and guide Finance team members in their daily responsibilities.\nProvide coaching and training to improve team performance.\nEnsure work is completed accurately and within established deadlines.\nPromote teamwork and professional standards within the Finance Department.\n A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.\nSignificant professional accounting experience, including experience in a senior or team leadership position.\nExcellent knowledge of accounting and tax regulations, particularly VAT, withholding tax\nPractical experience in statutory reporting and managing month-end and year-end closing processes.\nExperience working with external auditors, tax authorities.\nA strong understanding of internal controls, financial compliance and segregation of duties.\nProven ability to lead, coach and develop an accounting team.\nExcellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.\nExceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet demanding deadlines.\nProfessional proficiency in English.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting systems.\n Why work for Accor?\nWe are far more than a worldwide leader.
