Committed to sustainability and excellence, Fairmont The Norfolk continues to blend historic charm with contemporary sophistication, creating memorable experiences for generations of visitors.\n Reporting to the Cluster Director of Finance & Business Support, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: \nConsistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service\nLead and manage the accounting department and ensure all standards are followed\nCompile and analyse financial information to prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual reports\nEnsure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures\nEnsure all financial reporting deadlines are met\nEnsure accurate and efficient monthly, quarterly and year-end close\nEstablish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures\nBalance operational, administrative and Colleague needs\nContinuously manage and support budget and forecast activities and assist Departmental Leaders as required\nOversee the financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process\nEnsure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses\nAnalyse and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues\nAnalyse financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures;
