Headquartered in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, Accor is a global hospitality enterprise operating one of the largest networks of hotels, resorts, and vacation rentals in the world. The company manages, franchises, and owns a diverse portfolio of brands spanning luxury, premium, midscale, and economy segments - including Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, and Ibis - along with lifestyle venues and co-working spaces.

Hyde Perth has recently established itself as a world class employer of choice and to be part of something special. Since the hotel’s opening in March 2026, we have been bringing the signature Hyde energy to the vibrant heart of Western Australia. This bold and stylish hotel embodies the spirit of the Hyde brand: luxurious yet laidback, sophisticated with a festival soul.

Hyde is embracing an evolved brand identity that is all about a festival vibe with music at its core. Hyde perfectly balances an elevated bohemian-chic aesthetic with a youthful, laidback ambience. The spaces are defined by vibrant colours and are designed to encourage serendipitous connections and new discoveries around every corner. Hyde is all about the freedom and personal discovery that comes with great music, time with friends and connecting with something bigger.

As Assistant Front Office Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of the Front Office. You’ll lead and support the team across daily operations, drive service excellence and ensure every guest touchpoint reflects Hyde’s distinctive energy and brand standards.

Working closely with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance and other hotel departments, you’ll help create seamless guest journeys while supporting team development, operational efficiency and effective service recovery. You’ll also work closely with the Front Office Manager to maintain high standards, resolve operational challenges and continuously improve the guest experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing guest feedback and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and positive outcomes.
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing team members to build a high-performing and engaged team.
  • Supporting rostering, timesheets, leave planning and other operational requirements.
  • Monitoring occupancy, room inventory and guest flow to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Working closely with Revenue Management and operational departments to optimise room allocation and hotel performance.
  • Coordinating VIP arrivals, group bookings and special guest requirements across departments.
  • Ensuring Front Office procedures, systems, reporting and service standards are consistently maintained.
  • Supporting hotel safety, security and emergency procedures, including acting as Chief Warden when required.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall guest experience.

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, people, culture and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • A strong understanding of hotel safety, security and emergency procedures.
  • Professional presentation and grooming standards aligned with the Hyde brand.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.
