The role requires creativity, attention to detail, excellent beverage knowledge, and a genuine passion for hospitality.\nThe Bartender ensures the bar operates efficiently, maintains high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and creates memorable guest experiences through personalized service and meaningful interactions.\nBeverage Preparation and Service\nPrepare and serve a wide selection of mocktails, fresh juices, smoothies, specialty beverages, coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with resort standards.\n\nEnsure consistency in beverage quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.\n\nDemonstrate creativity in developing signature beverages using fresh, seasonal, and locally inspired ingredients.\n\nMaintain excellent knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.\n\nRecommend beverages based on guest preferences and dietary requirements.\n\nEnsure timely and efficient beverage service during regular operations, events, and special functions.\n\nFollow standardized recipes and established beverage preparation procedures.\n\nGuest Experience and Service Excellence\nWelcome and engage guests warmly, creating a friendly and personalized atmosphere.\n\nAnticipate guest needs and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience.\n\nHandle guest requests, concerns, and feedback professionally and promptly.\n\nBuild positive relationships with guests while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.\n\nDemonstrate excellent communication skills and cultural awareness when interacting with guests of different nationalities.\n\nSupport the Food & Beverage team in delivering memorable experiences consistent with the Our Habitas philosophy.\n\nBar Operations and Cleanliness\nMaintain cleanliness, organization, and proper presentation of the bar and surrounding service areas.\n\nEnsure all bar equipment, glassware, utensils, and preparation surfaces are cleaned and sanitized.\n\nComplete daily opening and closing procedures, including equipment checks, preparation, cleaning, and stock replenishment.\n\nEnsure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of beverage ingredients in accordance with FIFO principles.\n\nMonitor the condition of bar equipment and immediately report maintenance issues.\n\nComply with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and resort health and safety requirements.\n\nInventory and Cost Control\nMonitor beverage inventory and ensure adequate stock levels for daily operations.\n\nAssist with stock counts, requisitions, and inventory management.\n\nMinimize wastage through proper portion control, storage, and preparation techniques.\n\nMonitor product expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation.\n\nReport stock shortages, damaged items, and discrepancies to the supervisor.\n\nSupport departmental cost-control initiatives while maintaining beverage quality and service standards.\n\nSales and Revenue Generation\nPromote specialty beverages, seasonal offerings, and Food & Beverage promotions.\n\nApply appropriate upselling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.\n\nMaintain accurate billing and process guest orders through the point-of-sale (POS) system.\n\nSupport the introduction and promotion of new beverage concepts and signature drinks.\n\nContribute ideas to improve beverage offerings, operational efficiency, and guest engagement.\n\nTeamwork and General Responsibilities\nWork closely with the Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth daily operations.\n\nAssist with restaurant service, events, and other operational requirements when necessary.\n\nParticipate in departmental briefings, training sessions, and resort activities.\n\nMaintain professional grooming, personal hygiene, and appearance standards.\n\nDemonstrate teamwork, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude.\n\nSupport the resort's sustainability initiatives by minimizing waste and promoting responsible use of resources.\n\nPerform other reasonable duties assigned by management.\n\n Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Bartender or Barista in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.\n\nPrevious experience in luxury hospitality is preferred.\n\nStrong knowledge of mocktails, specialty beverages, coffee preparation, and beverage presentation.\n\nFamiliarity with bar equipment, beverage preparation techniques, and inventory procedures.\n\nBasic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.\n\nGood command of spoken English;
