Working closely with the banquet culinary team, you’ll take ownership of your section & help deliver memorable dining experiences.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nManage your assigned section, ensuring food is prepared & presented consistently to Delano’s standards.\n\nOrganise mise en place according to banquet event orders, menus & production schedules.\n\nPrepare dishes for plated events, buffets, receptions & live cooking stations.\n\nCoordinate with the Sous Chef & Junior Sous Chef to ensure smooth preparation & timely service.\n\nMaintain consistent flavour, presentation, portion sizes & food quality throughout each event.\n\nFollow recipes & support menu tastings, sharing ideas for dishes & presentation.\n\nHandle dietary requirements & allergens carefully, following established procedures.\n\nGuide Demi Chefs de Partie & Commis Chefs, supporting their development & daily work.\n\nMonitor stock levels, communicate ordering requirements & follow correct storage and stock rotation procedures.\n\nMinimise food waste & use ingredients responsibly.\n\nMaintain food safety, hygiene, temperature records & cleanliness in line with hotel procedures & local requirements.\n\nKeep equipment in good working order & report maintenance needs promptly.\n\n What We’re Looking For\nRelevant Experience: Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Demi Chef de Partie ready for the next step, ideally within luxury hotel banquet operations.\n\nCulinary Expertise: Strong cooking skills & attention to detail, with the ability to maintain quality during high-volume service.\n\nBanqueting Knowledge: Experience with banquet preparation, buffet service, plated dining & live cooking stations.\n\nOrganisation & Adaptability: The ability to manage your section, prioritise preparation & respond calmly to changing event requirements.\n\nTeam Spirit: A collaborative approach & willingness to guide and support junior chefs.\n\nFood Safety: Sound knowledge of food safety, HACCP principles & allergen management.\n\nCommunication: Clear communication skills & a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.\n\nQualifications: A culinary qualification is an advantage.\n\nFlexibility: Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends & public holidays, according to event schedules.\n\nGreat Personality: At Delano Dubai, personality & experience are equally valued.
