Engineering Accor\nHandling and management and sufficient storing of spare parts.\nSafety & Fire\nKey Deliverables and Responsibilities\nPlanning & Organizing:\nCoordinating purchasing for the Engineering departments with the finance team as per the hotel procedures\nManage sufficient par level stock of spare parts and ensures all incoming and outgoing items are registered.\nImplements all necessary work procedures for preventive maintenance, initiate respective scheduled procedures and monitors carrying out of work as well as recording the results within appropriate filing system\nPrioritizes department workload and efficiently repairs breakdowns.\nPlan and execute the annual Preventative Maintenance program for the hotel.\nPlan training programs in the Engineering division in conjunction with the P&C/L&D Manager.\nInitiates Fire Fighting Training in co-ordination with the Director of Security on a regular basis for all Heartists\nTo review the Heartists schedule and annual leave plan to ensure the correct allocation of resources in order to improve owner/guest satisfaction level as well as Heartists productivity and satisfaction.\nTo be familiar with all related company documentation, especially with the relevant Brand Standards Manual for Engineering.\nOperations:\nTo have a complete understanding of and to adhere to Accor policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.\nTo oversee all technical installations on hotel plant, Sewage system, Fresh water, Emergency Generator, Air Condition System, Technical building Services, Kitchen equipment, Cooling systems, Swimming pools, hotel lightening, in-house Music & TV system and Paging system.\nTo ensure a consistently high standard of grooming is followed and by self and team\nHave full knowledge of all products and services provided by the property and in the local area\nProvides solutions for emergency situations and problems of a larger nature.\nTo lead and support Heartists in the achievement of financial, Brand and service delivery targets via effective organizational policy and procedural development and appropriate colleague training activities\nPlan and execute regular technical skills training for the team\nTakes the responsibility for all work executed, by Heartists or external contractors on the building, plants or technical installations to ensure the quality of craftsmanship of all work carried out by team and contractors meets the Brand / Accor standards.\nFully investigates any internal disputes or guest complaints.\nPlan and allocate duties for all Engineering Staff in line with the Brand requirements\nSupervise the completion departmental works to ensure they are completed according to MH&R standards.\nTo lead daily Engineering briefings and monthly Heartists meetings\nManage any necessary modifications and improvements of the plant room equipment.\nTo carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nAdministration:\nTo be fully proficient with Engineering relevant system to maximize its use to streamline and up-to-date information\nApprove invoices for payment when the execution of the work is done as initially agreed\nDesign and implement a monthly report of works carried out, machines maintained, special events, report, consumption of energy and water, to be presented to the General Manager.\nMonitors all maintenance contracts and consults the General Manager as needed.\nIs aware of all agreements/laws with local authorities, insurance companies, external firms, contractors and suppliers, to control their work and invoices.\nGeneric Aspects on Hygiene / Personal Safety / Environment/Confidentiality:\nEnsure proper care of all equipment and furniture entrusted for Heartists use.\nBe well-familiar with the hotel's policies and procedures, well-acquainted with the physical layout of the hotel and its premises and knowledgeable of the hotel's emergency procedures in regard to fire, medical, bomb threat, black-out and evacuation.\nKnows the safety regulations and ensures their application & ensures the safety of people and property in the hotel.\nRespects and ensures respect of the hotel's commitments to the \"Environment Charter\" of Accor program (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste etc.).\nUnderstands and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Heartists Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.\nEnsure that confidential records and other confidential information are properly safeguarded and are not removed from the office.\nDoes not disclose any financial information or any other information of the Accor Hotels.\nStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilities\n Bachelor's degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.\nProfessional certification (e.g., Certified Hotel Engineer, Certified Facilities Manager) is a plus.\nPrevious managerial experience of 5-7 years in engineering, in a hotel or hospitality environment.\nStrong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.\nProven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering timely and cost-effective
