The role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, technical compliance, energy efficiency, and engineering team performance while supporting exceptional guest experiences and MGallery brand standards.\nMain Responsibilities and Duties:\n1. Engineering Operations & Preventive Maintenance:\nLead the daily operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of the hotel’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building management systems.\nDevelop and implement preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and technical equipment.\nEnsure the reliable operation of power supply, generators, water systems, heating and cooling, lifts, and other critical infrastructure.\nOversee maintenance of pools, SPA facilities, kitchen and laundry equipment, and beach-related hotel facilities, as applicable.\nRespond promptly to technical faults, guest maintenance requests, and emergencies, minimizing disruption to hotel operations.\nMaintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment records, service histories, and inventory of spare parts and engineering supplies.\nCoordinate with other departments to schedule works and maintain high standards of property appearance, functionality, and guest comfort.\n2. Health, Safety & Regulatory Compliance:\nEnsure that engineering activities and building systems comply with applicable Albanian laws, safety regulations, and hotel policies.\nOversee fire and life-safety equipment, emergency systems, inspections, testing, and relevant maintenance records.\nEstablish safe working procedures and ensure correct use of protective equipment by staff and contractors.\nCoordinate emergency response procedures, technical risk assessments, and corrective actions arising from inspections.\n3. Budgeting, Sustainability & Project Management:\nPrepare and monitor the Engineering Department budget, maintenance expenditure, and capital improvement proposals.\nTrack utility consumption and implement initiatives to optimize energy and water efficiency without compromising guest comfort.\nManage external contractors, service providers, quotations, procurement requests, and service contract performance.\nPlan and supervise repairs, refurbishments, and technical improvement projects, ensuring quality, cost control, and minimal operational disruption.\n4.
