Offering impeccable service and a welcoming atmosphere, Batman’s Hill on Collins is the ideal venue for guests visiting the city for leisure or work.\nWe are looking for a part time Commis Chef to support our kitchen operations across breakfast, lunch and dinner services, as well as conferences and events. Experience in a hotel or similar environment, working rights in Australia, and flexibility to work varied shifts is required. If you are motivated, enthusiastic, can commit to at least 20 hours per week, and have the drive to develop your skills, we would love to hear from you!\n Food preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, functions and buffet service.\nEnsure all food is produced in line with kitchen recipes and standards\nAssist and communicate with chef on duty as required\nMaintain a clean and hygienic work environment whilst ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards. \nEnsure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage and follow stock control procedures\nKeep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned.\nCommunicate and collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff\n\n Must haveAustralian working rights and flexibility to work varied shifts Monday to Sunday as required, visa sponsorship not available. \nRelevant trade qualification\nAbility to work as part of a small team and to prioritise and plan tasks\nStrong communication and time management skills\nCommitment to hygiene, safety standards, and food handling regulations\n At Accor, we are committed to ensuring our people feel welcome and valued by creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
