We're looking for an energetic and hands-on Conference Supervisor to lead the day-to-day delivery of our conference and and event operations.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, building strong client relationships, and ensuring every event is delivered to the highest standard.\nAs our Conference Supervisor, you'll be responsible for:\nLeading conference, banquet, and event operations from setup through to packdown.\nSupervising and supporting the conference team during service.\nEnsuring conference rooms and event spaces are prepared to the highest standard.\nDelivering exceptional guest experiences and resolving issues professionally.\nConducting team briefings and ensuring smooth event execution.\nCoordinating with Kitchen, Front Office, Sales & Events, and other departments.\nMaintaining presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards across all event spaces.\nAssisting with training, coaching, and development of team members.\nTaking ownership of operations and making confident decisions during shifts.\n Previous experience in conference, banquets, events, or hospitality supervision.\nStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.\nA passion for delivering exceptional guest service.\nExcellent communication and organisational skills.\nThe ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.\nConfidence working independently and leading operations when required.\nFlexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.\nA current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate or the ability to obtain one\n Why join Movenpick Auckland with Accor?\nAccor isn't just about developing your career; it's also about helping you enjoy it too.
