Make it your next move.\nOur Hotel\nThe Sydney Boulevard Hotel, a classic establishment near Sydney’s CBD, boasts 275 well-appointed guest rooms, 2 food and beverage outlets, and 11 function rooms.\nWe are dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high operational standards.\nWe are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Commis Chef to join our team, support our Head Chef, and help ensure guest requirements are always met with the delivery of exceptional experiences.\n Key Responsibilities\nSupervise, coach and support the Front Office team to deliver exceptional guest service.\nLead daily Front Office operations, ensuring service standards and procedures are consistently met.\nHandle guest enquiries, requests and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.\nCommunicate hotel updates, policies and procedures effectively to the team.\nConduct team briefings and departmental meetings to maintain service excellence.\nWork operational shifts within the Front Office as required.\nAssist with reservations and maximise room revenue through effective inventory management.\nEnsure daily revenue reconciliation and accurate completion of Front Office financial procedures.\nAssist with roster preparation to achieve operational requirements within labour budgets.\nSupport recruitment, onboarding, training and performance development of team members.\nFoster a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.\nMaintain effective communication with all hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.\nEnsure compliance with privacy, health and safety, and company policies.\nMonitor Front Office equipment and report maintenance requirements promptly.\nParticipate in ongoing training and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\n Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration preferred.\nMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry.\nThe ability to work a flexible 24/7 roster.\nPossess a strong background in Front Office procedures and Opera PMS\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.\nExcellent
