give priority to guest-occupied rooms and villas\nCarry out first-line repairs across trades: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, minor carpentry, locks and general maintenance\nPerform scheduled plant room rounds, recording readings for chillers, AHUs/FCUs, boilers, pumps, water tanks, pools and generators\nMonitor the BMS and fire alarm panel; act immediately on alarms and escalate to the Duty Engineer as needed\nAct as a member of the emergency response team: fire, flooding, power failure, lift entrapment and gas leaks\nCheck public areas, lighting, signage and pool and beach equipment during rounds; fix or report defects\nCarry out preventive maintenance tasks assigned by the supervisor during quieter periods\nIssue and follow permit-to-work and lock-out/tag-out procedures; supervise contractors working during the shift\nComplete the shift log and give a clear handover to the next shift, including open jobs and recurring issues\nRecord energy and water meter readings and support Planet 21 sustainability actions\nBe courteous and discreet with guests when working in rooms and public areas\nFollow Health & Safety, Dubai Civil Defence and Accor standards, and keep tools and the workshop clean\n Diploma or technical certificate in electrical, mechanical or HVAC engineering, or equivalent trade qualification\nMinimum 3 years' multi-skilled maintenance experience, ideally in a 5-star hotel or resort\nPractical knowledge of electrical systems (LV), plumbing, HVAC and building management systems\nFamiliarity with fire safety systems and emergency procedures\nGood spoken and written English\nComputer literate;
