From the Welcome Ceremony to Family Dinner through to Storytelling and Sunday Sunset Sessions, Our Habitas seek to provide a new kind of hospitality where they bridge the gap between old-world luxury and experiential-first travel.\n The F&B Server is responsible for delivering warm, personalized, and attentive food and beverage service to guests while creating meaningful and memorable experiences in line with Our Habitas service philosophy and standards.\nThe role ensures that guests are welcomed naturally, orders are taken accurately, food and beverages are served professionally, and all guest needs are anticipated throughout their dining experience.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nGuest Experience & Service\nWelcome and engage guests in a warm, confident, natural, and personalized manner.\n\nCreate genuine connections with guests while maintaining professional and appropriate interactions.\n\nPresent menus and confidently explain food and beverage offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials.\n\nTake accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them promptly to the kitchen and bar teams.\n\nAnticipate guest needs and provide attentive service without being intrusive.\n\nPersonalize interactions by recognizing guest preferences, names, special occasions, and dietary requirements whenever possible.\n\nServe food and beverages according to established service standards and sequence of service.\n\nRegularly check guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns.\n\nHandle guest feedback professionally and immediately escalate concerns when management assistance is required.\n\nThank guests genuinely and ensure a warm farewell at the conclusion of their experience.\n\nFood & Beverage Operations\nPrepare assigned restaurant, bar, pool, beach, event, or other F&B service areas before operations.\n\nComplete mise-en-place and ensure service stations are fully stocked and organized.\n\nMaintain cleanliness and presentation of tables, chairs, menus, service equipment, and surrounding areas.\n\nEnsure correct table setup according to the meal period and outlet requirements.\n\nCoordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, stewarding, and other departments to ensure smooth and timely service.\n\nServe and clear food, beverages, plates, glassware, and cutlery efficiently.\n\nProcess guest bills and payments accurately in accordance with established procedures.\n\nEnsure correct posting of charges to guest rooms or other applicable accounts.\n\nAssist with restaurant opening and closing procedures.\n\nSupport special events, private dining, functions, and resort activations when required.\n\nProduct Knowledge & Upselling\nMaintain strong knowledge of all menus, beverages, promotions, and resort offerings.\n\nUnderstand ingredients and common allergens and communicate dietary requirements accurately to the kitchen.\n\nRecommend dishes and beverages based on guest preferences.\n\nPractice suggestive selling and upselling naturally while prioritizing the guest experience.\n\nParticipate in menu briefings, tastings, training sessions, and product knowledge activities.\n\nHygiene, Safety & Compliance\nFollow all food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP requirements.\n\nMaintain excellent personal hygiene and grooming standards at all times.\n\nEnsure food and beverages are handled safely and appropriately.\n\nImmediately report hazards, accidents, equipment defects, or safety concerns.\n\nFollow all resort policies, procedures, security requirements, and emergency procedures.\n\nHandle resort property, equipment, and supplies responsibly.\n\nTeamwork & Our Habitas Culture\nWork collaboratively with colleagues across Food & Beverage and other departments.\n\nSupport colleagues during busy periods to maintain a seamless guest experience.\n\nCommunicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with team members.\n\nParticipate actively in daily briefings, training sessions, meetings, and resort activities.\n\nDemonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist in different F&B areas according to operational requirements.\n\nConsistently demonstrate the Our Habitas values and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace.\n\nTake ownership of the guest experience rather than limiting responsibilities to assigned tables or sections.\n\n Previous experience as an F&B Server, Waiter/Waitress, or similar hospitality role is preferred.\n\nPrevious experience in a luxury hotel, resort, lifestyle hotel, or high-quality restaurant environment is an advantage.\n\nGood knowledge of food and beverage service standards.\n\nBasic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergens.\n\nGood spoken English;
