In this pivotal supervisory role, you will oversee food and beverage operations, lead a dedicated team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences through efficient service delivery and operational excellence. You will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of service, hygiene, and customer satisfaction while driving team performance and fostering a collaborative work environment.\nEnsure efficient, friendly, and professional food and beverage service is provided to all guests, while maintaining a customer-focused approach to exceed expectations\nSupervise and mentor team members, providing coaching and support to develop their skills in menu knowledge, dietary requirements, allergen awareness, and beverage recommendations\nEstablish and maintain comprehensive systems to protect, control, and accurately record food service equipment, conduct regular stock takes, and document any breakages or discrepancies\nDevelop and implement weekly cleaning schedules for food service areas to achieve and maintain the highest hygiene and sanitation standards\nEnsure team members are knowledgeable about current promotions and are empowered to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining service quality\nOversee accurate guest billing following hotel procedures, verify correct charges are posted, and resolve any billing discrepancies with transparency and professionalism\nMaintain clean and organized presentation of bar and restaurant areas by implementing and monitoring opening, closing, and daily operational procedures\nCoordinate setup and reset of conference and function activities as required, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction\nAssist with roster preparation and scheduling, ensuring cost-effective and suitable employee levels are maintained while meeting operational demands\nAnalyze operational metrics and guest feedback to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions that enhance service delivery\nFoster a supportive and inclusive team environment that encourages open communication, professional development, and shared accountability\n **Required Qualifications:**\nMinimum 2 years of relevant supervisory or operational experience in a food and beverage outlet or hospitality environment\nComprehensive understanding of menu items, dietary requirements, and allergen information\nProven experience in staff supervision, training, and team leadership\nProficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic financial management\nKnowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively across departments\nStrong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail\nProblem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism\n**Preferred Qualifications:**\nFood Safety Certification or equivalent training\nExperience in a hotel or upscale dining establishment\nKnowledge of wine pairing and advanced beverage service\nExperience with inventory management software\nBilingual capabilities (English and Malay)\nDemonstrated
