Join us at Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery, where we create stories that stay.\n As Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the day to day operation of all Food & Beverage outlets at Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery, including Pastore, our signature Italian restaurant, Altus Rooftop Bar & Lounge, Conference & Events, and In-Room Dining.\nThis is a hands-on operational leadership role where no two days are the same. You will oversee daily service, support our operational teams, and ensure every guest experience reflects the luxury standards of our hotel.\nYou are a visible and approachable leader who understands that exceptional hospitality starts with engaged, confident and well-supported teams. You lead by example, take ownership of the guest experience, and know how to balance operational priorities with genuine care for both guests and team members.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nOverseeing the daily operation of all Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring service is seamless, consistent and aligned with our luxury standards.\nProviding visible, hands-on leadership across restaurant, bar, Conference & Events and In-Room Dining operations.\nLeading and supporting Supervisors and operational team members, setting clear expectations and building a culture of accountability, teamwork and service excellence.\nCoaching and developing team members to strengthen capability, confidence and future leadership potential.\nEnsuring our team deliver personalised, attentive and memorable guest experiences at every touchpoint.\nManaging guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism, sound judgement and a focus on creating positive outcomes.\nWorking closely with the Executive Chef, Restaurant & Bar Manager, Meetings & Events team and other hotel departments to ensure smooth and coordinated operations.\nSupporting recruitment, onboarding, training, rostering and labour management to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.\nMonitoring service standards, outlet presentation, cleanliness and operational procedures, addressing issues promptly.\nTaking ownership of operational challenges, making confident decisions and finding solutions that balance guest satisfaction with business needs.\nIdentifying opportunities to improve service delivery, team performance and operational efficiency.\nMaintaining a strong presence during key trading periods, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.\n Previous supervisory or management experience in Food & Beverage, ideally within a hotel or premium hospitality environment.\nA genuine passion for luxury hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.\nStrong people leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach and support teams in a fast-paced environment.\nConfidence overseeing multiple outlets and managing competing operational priorities.\nA hands-on leadership style, with a willingness to step in and support the team wherever needed.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the hotel.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the confidence to make decisions and manage guest concerns effectively.\nA sound understanding of service standards, food safety, workplace health and safety, and operational procedures.\nGood organisational skills and an understanding of rostering, labour management and operational efficiency.\nFlexibility to work across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays\n What’s in it for you...\nThe opportunity to lead across multiple Food & Beverage outlets within a luxury MGallery hotel.\nA strong platform to develop your leadership capability and progress towards more senior Food & Beverage management roles within the Accor network.\nAccess to Accor's global learning and development opportunities.\nThe opportunity to work closely with experienced hotel leaders and gain broader operational exposure.\nExclusive employee benefits, including discounted accommodation and dining across Accor hotels worldwide.\nA collaborative environment where your ideas, initiative and leadership can make a genuine difference.\nReady to take the next step in your hospitality career?
