This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the finance team, maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with Hotel policies, supporting departmental profitability, and assisting in the overall financial management of the business.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide financial support and guidance to Department Heads to identify and implement cost-effective initiatives that improve profitability.\nOversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations.\nAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit/compliance processes.\nMaintain accurate ledgers and authorise payments alongside the Financial Controller and General Manager.\nEnsure cash handling procedures, internal controls, and finance policies are adhered to at all times.\nWork closely with the Front Office team to ensure revenue transactions are accurately recorded and night audit procedures are followed.\n Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, cash flow management, and internal controls.\nKnowledge of PAYG, GST, Payroll Tax, Workers Compensation, BAS, Accounts Payable and Superannuation.\nExperience with accounting systems; Opera Cloud, Zambion Ready Workforce, Purchase Plus, Micros Symphony, and Sun Cloud advantageous.\nPrevious hotel or hospitality finance experience.\nExcellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.\nA proactive approach to improving processes and driving business performance.\n What's in it for you?\nAccess unforgettable experiences from day one with our ALL Heartist Benefits - with over 70 partners globally, across travel, gourmet dining, wellness, and sport. \nExperience our hotels with preferential rates at Accor properties, as well as discounted rates for Family & Friends. \nReach your potential, with tailored development programs, and learning pathways delivered by Accor Academy. \nGrow and create your path, with clear development pathways across more than 45 unique brands.\nWhy work for Accor?\nAccor is one of the worlds largest hospitality companies, with over 5,800 hotels across 110 countries.
