The Hoxton, Dublin is home to 129 bedrooms of varying sizes, a lobby bar & restaurant, a historic bar, Cantina Valentina, our large ground floor restaurant and The Dig - our unique meetings and events space.\n What you’ll do…\nResponsible for the overall maintenance of the hotel’s facilities and equipment. \nEnsure that the maintenance budget and stock levels are controlled, ensuring that all expenses are kept in line with budget guidelines.\nTo be fully aware, and competent in, all health and safety procedures, policies and assist with preparing all risk assessments.\nEnsure that there is an effective PPM schedules in place.\nManage the onsite activity of all contractors.\nOrder all maintenance supplies and ensure stock controls are in place.\nMaintain records of all machinery and equipment including manufacturers details, specifications, and manuals.\nEnsure that all fire safety equipment is maintained and tested in a timely manner.\nArrange and co-ordinate quotations from suppliers in relation to maintenance work.\nLead and manage a team of high-energy people who love our guests, by setting and monitoring goals, empowering and developing them, and creating an environment where people can be themselves.\nPro-actively identify opportunities to improve and enhance processes and procedures.\nTo be a member of the hotel crisis and fire teams, and to be fully conversant in all related procedures.\nPro-actively project manage any changes in policies and procedures.\nAchieve and maintain the highest possible levels of customer service to both external and internal customers, forging long-term relationships with suppliers and contractors.\nCover shift engineer shifts as required.\n What we’re looking for…\nIndividuals.
