In this role, you will lead and inspire our conference and events team to deliver outstanding service and create memorable experiences for our corporate and private function guests.\nSupervise the execution of banquet, conference, and meeting room events, ensuring catering timelines, AV requirements, and room setups strictly align with guest event orders\nLiaise closely with the Conference & Events Sales team to ensure seamless handovers and flawless execution of corporate and private functions\nOversee daily conference and events operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and maintaining high-quality standards throughout all functions\nLead, motivate, and develop a team of events and catering staff to achieve operational excellence\nCoordinate with kitchen staff to maintain menu quality, consistency, and timely delivery for all conference and event requirements\nManage inventory, place orders, and control costs whilst upholding product quality for events and functions\nHandle guest inquiries, special requests, and event modifications, resolving issues promptly and professionally\nAssist in creating and implementing innovative conference packages, event promotions, and catering offerings\nEnsure compliance with food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies across all events\nMonitor and analyse sales data and event performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement\nConduct regular staff training sessions to enhance service skills, product knowledge, and event execution capabilities\nMaintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment for staff and guests throughout all conference and event spaces\nCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and integrated event delivery\nStay updated on industry trends and incorporate contemporary offerings into event packages and menus\nYour experience and skills include:\nService focused personality is essential and a passion for everything food and beverage\nPrevious experience in a similar leadership role is an asset\nStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by
