It's a place to celebrate, explore, exchange ideas, and discover a new dimension of luxury that resonates with emotions as gracefully as the Raffles name itself.\n Position: Electrician\nDepartment: Engineering\nReports to: Director of Engineering\n_______________________________________________________________\nPURPOSE OF POSITION\nTo utilize education and experience in the efficient operation, maintenance and repair of the physical plant, structure, utility services, equipment, fixtures, and furnishings for the hotel facility and associated buildings\nKEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nYou are required to work a 48 hours per week\nYou are required to take 15 minutes breakfast half an hour for lunch each day at the Staff canteen 15 minutes tea break half an hour for dinner\nYou are required to take proper care of all material and tool.\nInstalls, alters, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring systems and equipment, both high and low voltage, air distributions systems, pumps, transformers, motors, and appliances.\nUnderstands electrical plans for Hotel building and electrical equipment.\nDraws circuits on a diagram for controls.\nDesign functional electric circuitry for electrical systems.\nLocate and adjust defects in electrical systems and equipment.\nInstalls electrical fitting to existing houses, building &/or other structures.\nLiaise with clients &/or other relevant personal.\nKeep clients informed of tasks completed &/or timeframes to complete tasks.\n Adheres to all company safety guidelines.\nUse and care for hand tools and equipment necessary to perform various electrical repairs tasks.\nMeets company attendance requirements.\nMeets company uniform appearance and grooming standards.\nYou are required to keep your working environment clean and tidy free from all potential hazard\nSelf-started and proactive profile\nShould be able to check your stock level needed during your shift duty\nShould have proper control and monitoring of the tools, equipment and materials to complete the job in a safe and efficient manner.\nWork with other department, the jobs get do be done,\nYou should be flexible towards tasks assigned to him to work odd hours.\nmake sure that all machineries are working properly\ncheck instruments and switchboards to make sure that all systems are working efficiently to detect line disturbances\nKeep the record of fuel used for generators.\nMonitor and records all the operational data which are related to distribution of power.\nIn the event of power interruption he should be familiar with the basic troubleshooting\nCheck and ensure that the water plant is operational and record water usage and production\nDaily check the water level in the tank.\nPerforming routine maintenance on equipment and determine the same as and when required\nMaintain the plant operation equipment and facilities in a clean and orderly condition.\nFunction as a shift operator; make decision and stand alone on shift\nAbility to work extended hours if and when required.\nRespond to emergencies such as fire and environmental hazards.\nYou will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other related duties as assigned by the management.
