Ensure team members have some understanding of beverages and wine list and are competent to make suggestions as required. Ensure staff are aware of current promotions and are able to maximise sales to guests.\nEnsure guest billing is completed accurately following hotel procedure and that correct charges are posted.\nBe knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.\nMaintain currency of Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles.\nMaintain clean and neat presentation of bar and restaurant area(s), following set opening, closing and daily procedures.\nOversee the setup and reset of specific Conference & Function activities as required.\nAssist with preparation of rosters, ensuring that suitable and cost-effective employee levels are maintained at all times.
