It's a place to celebrate, explore, exchange ideas, and discover a new dimension of luxury that resonates with emotions as gracefully as the Raffles name itself.\n Position: Finance Manager\nDepartment: Finance\nReports to: Director of Finance\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe Finance Manager will assist the Director of Finance in compiling timely and accurate financial management reports, as required by the country’s Tax regulation, the corporate office and the owners. The Finance Manager will assist the DOF in order to ensure that proper internal controls are in place. Also, the Finance Manager must play a role in the development of the accounting staff especially in terms of training, cross-training, and development in order to meet the hotel’s and the Company’s human resources needs.\nMust be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.\nMust have thorough knowledge of all jobs in the Accounting areas.\nMust have a commitment to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures.\nMust have a high degree of professional integrity and confidentiality, and work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.\nAssisting the DOF in order to ensure that all of the accounting colleagues understand and follows the applicable policies and procedures that are outlined in the Company’s accounting policies and procedures manual, and especially those, related to the country’s Tax rules and regulations.\nMonitoring the accounting department’s daily routines to ensure effective, efficient and tax compliant work practices.\nSupervising and assisting with account reconciliations, account analysis, and closing procedures at month end.\nVerifying the accuracy in terms of all applicable tax rules of all of the night audit transactions and monitoring adherence to established procedures in all purchases or sales of the hotel departments.\nSupervising the filing and maintenance of all Tax accounting related documents and records in accordance with the document retention regulations in the country and the provision in the Hotel Management Agreement.\nEnsuring the accuracy and timeliness of all operational financial reporting to both FRHI and Owner.\nWorking with the DOF to plan, educate, and audit departmental and hotel staff, who are ordering goods or signing tax-related documents. Also, the Finance Manager must oversee the training, cross training, and development of the hotel staff on all issues, related to local taxation (whatever included in their immediate duties).\nPerforming related tasks and duties as assigned by the DOF such as assisting with forecasting, reporting, budgeting, internal control, and completing account analysis.\nPrepare all financial statements, accruals and journal entries, and maintain reconciliation’s for all balance sheet accounts, related to taxation, in established corporate formats and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.\nSupervise and ensure all reports and documents are compliant with the IFRS, the latest edition of the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry and Hotel Management Agreement requirements.\nHave a thorough knowledge of the contents of all Tax related documents and laws in the country and thoroughly follow up on all changes.\nAssist the DOF in preparation of all budgets and forecasts.\nSupervise the day-to-day activities of Accounting staff including assisting them when necessary to stay current.\nPrepare or oversee the preparation of all local, state and other tax filings, returns and other reporting on a timely basis to the extend it’s the operating company’s responsibility.\nParticipate in and develop staff training programs in order to minimize colleague turnover activities and results of the Accounting office meeting or any other related issues.\nConduct self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Fairmont Raffles Hotels & Resorts and encourage staff to do the same.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nProficient in the English language (spoken & written), any other language is an advantage\nMust be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment while remaining calm and collective\nMust be flexible in terms of working hours (24-hour operation, 7 days a week)\nSelf-motivation and organizational skills and the ability to take initiatives\nBachelor's degree in accounting or finance.\n6 or more years prior experience in accounting experience.\nSignificant supervisory experience (2 years plus).\nStrong accounting and analytical skills.\nStrong computer skills: proficiency in Accounting software applications, MS Office - Excel, Word.\nExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.","description_format":"text","description_chars":5487,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":6,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":true}]},"benefits":["Flexible schedule"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Lifestyle","Travel & Tourism"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-28T11:08:25Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Skilled Worker, Senior or Specialist Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Skilled Worker;
