attention to detail\nRecord and verify daily financial transactions and journal entries in a timely manner\nPerform monthly bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy\nAssist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and support the finance team throughout the process\nPrepare and maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts\nReview accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions when required, identifying and resolving discrepancies\nMonitor and reconcile intercompany accounts and internal transfers to maintain transparency\nEnsure proper recording and allocation of revenues, expenses, and other financial transactions\nAssist in preparing monthly financial reports and management reports that support decision-making\nInvestigate and resolve accounting record discrepancies with analytical rigor and problem-solving skills\nSupport the preparation of accruals, prepayments, provisions, and adjusting entries\nEnsure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls\nMaintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records for audit and reference purposes\nAssist with internal and external audits by providing required schedules and supporting documentation\nWork collaboratively with other Finance team members and hotel departments to ensure accurate and transparent financial reporting\nAssist senior accounting staff with ad hoc financial and accounting tasks as needed\n Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field\n2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment\nStrong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting standards\nSolid understanding of reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and prepayments\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems\nExcellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy\nStrong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently\nAbility to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment\nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills
