Consider joining us, if you enjoy:\nConnecting guests to the extraordinary place we call home.\nDiscovering a broad offering of career paths\nLearning and thriving among a group of international hospitality professionals\nBeing passionate about people and attentive to the world - we are globetrotters!\nGoing beyond the walls of our hotel to support our community.\nTaking pride in our differences\nThen this could be THE perfect opportunity for you, and we cannot wait to welcome you.\nSummary of Responsibilities:\nReporting to the Director of Engineering, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:\nDeliver professional, engaging, and proactive guest service by anticipating needs and providing helpful information about hotel facilities to ensure an exceptional guest experience.\nRespond promptly to maintenance requests across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house using the work order system.\nPerform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, painting, and masonry.\nCarry out preventive maintenance on equipment, guest rooms, and public areas to maintain hotel standards.\nConduct regular inspections of facility and surrounding areas and perform interior and exterior maintenance and service as required\nMaintain and repair building systems and equipment in accordance with manuals, standards, and safety codes.\nEnsure all work orders and maintenance activities are completed and documented accurately.\nMaintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a safe, clean, and organized condition.\nMonitor equipment performance and report faults, damages, or safety concerns.\nSupport inventory control by using materials efficiently and assisting with stock replenishment.\nWork independently or as part of a team on maintenance tasks and projects.\nBeing an ambassador for the Brand, Hotel, Community and Colleagues, participating in Hotel Committees and events.\nAct as part of the Emergency Response Team when required.\nStrict adherence to all Health & Safety training, guidelines and work practices previous, during and following an epidemic (whether local or global) that are established by Accor, local government, international bodies including the World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for disease control (CDC).\nPerform any other job related duties and projects as assigned\n Qualifications:\nMinimum 3 years experience in facilities general maintenance or a related field; hospitality experience preferred\nHigh School diploma or equivalent; trade certification or vocational training considered an asset.\nProven hands-on skills in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.\nWorking knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and materials, with the ability to read and interpret manuals and technical instructions.\nBasic understanding of building codes, compliance, and Health & Safety (WHS) standards.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take a hands-on approach.\nAbility to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).\nReliable and flexible, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.\nPositive, team-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills;
