General Manager
Be an ambassador of the Mövenpick brand and the property as General Manager, where your strategic leadership, exceptional interpersonal skills, and commercial vision will drive an engaged team, exceed guest expectations, and deliver superior operating results. You will bring strong business acumen and tenacity to drive revenue growth, exceed targets, and position the property as a premier luxury destination in the market.
You will be responsible for:
· Leading the Business
o Provide overall strategic direction and management of the property, ensuring all departments achieve operational and financial targets
o Develop and execute long and short-range financial objectives aligned with brand strategy and owner expectations
o Maximize profitability through effective financial management, cost control, and revenue optimization
o Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy rates and average daily rates
o Ensure full compliance with operating controls, legislation, and brand standards across all business areas
o Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement
· Building and Inspiring Your Team
o Lead the recruitment process to attract and select high-caliber talent aligned with property needs and brand values
o Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages employee engagement and input
o Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to build a high-performing leadership team
o Develop and maintain positive relationships within the local community and with key stakeholders
· Driving Service Excellence and Brand Positioning
o Maintain premium product and service quality standards that consistently exceed guest expectations
o Manage guest relations and resolve complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and positive brand reputation
o Champion brand essentials and ensure consistent execution of brand standards throughout the property
o Oversee safety, security, and risk management protocols to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for guests and staff
o Manage vendor and supplier relationships to optimize service delivery and cost efficiency
o Lead marketing initiatives and brand positioning strategies to enhance market presence and competitive advantage in the luxury segment
**Your Experience and Skills Include:**
**Required Qualifications:**
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive leadership experience within a hotel brand or similar hospitality business
- Proven track record in P&L management, financial planning, and revenue optimization
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated success in driving commercial performance and delivering on KPIs
- Passionate about growing and developing self and others through coaching and mentorship
- Exceptional relationship-building abilities with guests, team members, owners, and stakeholders
- Strategic, creative thinker with strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven leader with the ability to inspire, motivate, and build high-performing teams
- Expertise in revenue management strategies, including occupancy optimization and rate management
- Demonstrated knowledge of hospitality compliance, safety protocols, and risk management
- Experience managing vendor and supplier relationships to optimize service delivery and cost efficiency
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Hospitality management degree or equivalent professional certification
- Experience with brand standards and service delivery best practices
- Background in marketing initiatives and brand positioning strategies
- Knowledge of hotel operations systems and financial management software
- Experience in multi-unit or complex property management environments
