Whether you already have hospitality experience or are looking to develop your skills within a hotel environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a varied role at the heart of the guest experience.\nConveniently located close to Southampton Central Station and the city's cruise terminals, ibis Southampton Centre welcomes a mix of business travellers, leisure guests and cruise passengers throughout the year.\nThe Role\nAs a Guest Service Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and outstanding service throughout their stay. Working across reception and food & beverage operations, you'll help create a seamless guest experience while maintaining high standards across the hotel.\nKey responsibilities include:\nWelcoming guests and managing check-ins and check-outs\nProcessing payments and handling guest enquiries\nPreparing and serving food and beverages\nProviding local area information and assisting with guest requests\nSupporting conference and meeting room set-up when required\nMaintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation\nWorking closely with colleagues across all departments to deliver excellent service\nAbout You\nWe're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.\nPrevious hospitality or hotel experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
