of guest rooms and assigned areas while gaining practical knowledge and experience in hotel housekeeping operations under the guidance of supervisors and senior team members.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nGuest Room Cleaning & Maintenance\nAssist in cleaning and maintaining guest rooms as per hotel standards and procedures.\nSupport the team in making beds and changing bed linen as instructed.\nAssist in cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and other fixtures.\nDust, wipe, vacuum, and clean furniture, floors, mirrors, and other surfaces as required.\nAssist in replenishing guest amenities, toiletries, towels, and other room supplies.\nEnsure rooms are properly arranged and presented as per the hotel's standards.\nReport any maintenance issues, damages, or irregularities noticed in guest rooms to the supervisor.\nAssist in following the hotel's Lost & Found procedures for any items left behind by guests.\nGuest Service\nMaintain guest privacy and follow proper procedures before entering guest rooms.\nRespond courteously to basic guest requests and seek assistance from the supervisor when required.\nAssist in providing additional amenities or supplies requested by guests.\nMaintain a professional and respectful approach when interacting with guests.\nSafety & Hygiene\nFollow all hotel safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.\nLearn and follow the correct procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment.\nUse cleaning equipment and materials safely and responsibly under supervision.\nEnsure guest rooms and assigned areas are kept safe, clean, and organised.\nFollow hotel fire, life safety, emergency, and security procedures.\nSupplies & Inventory\nAssist in collecting and arranging housekeeping supplies, linen, towels, and guest amenities.\nSupport the team in maintaining adequate stock of cleaning and guest room supplies.\nReport shortages or damaged supplies to the supervisor.\nTeam Support\nWork closely with Room Attendants, Supervisors, and other Housekeeping team members.\nAssist the team during high occupancy and peak operational periods.\nSupport other housekeeping activities as assigned by the supervisor.\nMaintain cleanliness and organisation of housekeeping work areas and equipment.\nLearning & Development Responsibilities\nDevelop practical knowledge of guest room cleaning and housekeeping procedures.\nLearn hotel standards for room cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and guest service.\nObserve and learn proper handling of linen, amenities, cleaning equipment, and chemicals.\nAttend departmental briefings, training sessions, and meetings as assigned.\nFollow instructions provided by supervisors and seek guidance whenever required.\nDemonstrate willingness to learn and continuously improve housekeeping skills.\nGeneral Responsibilities\nReport for duty on time in a clean and complete uniform.\nMaintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene.\nFollow all departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.\nHandle guest belongings and hotel property with care and responsibility.\nMaintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests and colleagues.\nPerform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel.\nMain Complexity / Critical Issues in the Job\nMaintain the required standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and room presentation while working under supervision.\nHandle guest requests politely and escalate matters beyond the scope of the role to the supervisor.\nFollow safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, linen, and guest room items.\nMaintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.\nAdapt to a fast-paced housekeeping environment
