The Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work across various disciplines including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a comfortable and safe living environment for all employees.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintenance Tasks: Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and general fixtures within the staff accommodation areas.\nInspections: Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, and equipment to identify and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.\nEmergency Repairs: Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to employee comfort and safety.\nRecord Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance tasks, repair work, and equipment servicing for tracking and reporting purposes.\nInventory Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials. Report shortages and assist in requisitions.\nCompliance: Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety standards and building regulations.\nCollaboration: Work closely with the Supervisor, Employee Accommodation and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support facility improvements.\nReporting: Notify the Supervisor of any major maintenance issues or safety concerns that require further attention or external service providers.\nCleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment in all maintenance areas. Properly handle and store tools and materials.\nTeam Support: Provide technical assistance during staff moves, accommodation upgrades, and special projects involving facility improvements.\nSustainability: Commit to and maintain sustainable practices by enhancing resource efficiency, minimizing waste, and promoting eco-friendly, social, and ethical initiatives. Align with the hotel's broader ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) objectives to drive positive impact across all pillars of sustainability.\nCompliance and Standards: Ensure full compliance with local legal requirements, international standards, health and safety regulations, company policies, ISO standards, and industry best practices.
