The portfolio currently comprises nearly twenty luxurious properties, from secluded resorts to city hotels in key locations around the world.\nWe invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles The Palm as we are currently looking for an HVAC Technician, reporting to the Engineering Supervisor / Duty Engineer.\nThe HVAC Technician is responsible for carrying out a variety of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks across the property, ensuring that all HVAC systems operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the hotel’s safety, quality, and operational requirements.\nAt Raffles The Palm, the HVAC Technician plays an important role in maintaining the comfort, functionality, and exceptional standards of the property. The role requires a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented professional who can perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose HVAC issues, and respond efficiently to technical requirements. The HVAC Technician works proactively and collaboratively with the Engineering and other operational teams to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems and support the seamless operation of the hotel.\nKEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nResponsibilities includes but are not limited to the following: -\nReports to the Duty Engineer / Supervisor regarding daily work progress and work order completion.\nAttains all A/C complaint reports on daily basis. Guest room trouble is given priority.\nWorks closely with Duty Engineer / Supervisor and peers to carry out preventive maintenance and annual maintenance program.\nFollows all safety rules and regulations in job, departmental procedures and instructions.\nCarries out all other tasks assigned to him by his supervisor.\nOTHER\nThese includes but are not limited to the following:-\nAble to read Building services, Air-conditioning, Refrigeration and Electrical drawings.\nAble to fault find and repair air-conditioning and building control systems. Good electrical knowledge.\nKnowledge of BMS systems.\nExperience of reciprocating Chillers and Air handling plant and cold rooms.\nFamiliar with planned Preventive Maintenance and Safety programmes.\nFlexible and team player - able to work on own initiative.\nGood understanding of water treatment techniques and able to handle chemicals.\nMakes periodic inspection tours to check all refrigeration equipment functioning properly.\nCarries out guest room maintenance according to schedule programme.\nWorks closely with electrician to carry out electrical work when required, including functions and parties.\nDaily refrigeration log sheet to be filled and temperature to be recorded.\nWorks closely with peers to assist in their job when requested by supervisor.\nKeeps all necessary tools in good working condition, keep their working place neat and clean.\nUnderstand the Raffles Brand and operating standards.\nParticipate and assist in other projects as required.\nEnsure that all HVAC stocks are ordered and that the stores are well managed and maintained.\nSecondary School + Technical College or equal.\nMinimum 5 years air-conditioning or refrigeration installation or maintenance experience in Industrial/Commercial Projects.
