Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all hotel revenues and financial transactions while supporting operational controls across the property.\nKey Responsibilities\nAudit and verify all hotel revenue streams, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Banquets, Laundry, Fitness Centre, Business Centre, and other operating departments.\nPrepare and distribute the Daily Revenue Flash and other management reports.\nReview and reconcile city ledger accounts, credit card transactions, MPESA collections, and bank remittances.\nAudit daily Night Audit reports and revenue summaries for completeness and accuracy.\nVerify complimentary rooms, house-use rooms, room rates, allowances, paid-outs, and negative postings.\nConduct room reconciliations and review occupancy reports against housekeeping records.\nAudit Food & Beverage transactions, including voids, cancellations, discounts, and package postings.\nVerify General Cashier reports, cash movements, and banking records.\nMonitor compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and internal controls across all revenue-generating departments.\nInvestigate revenue discrepancies, late charges, skippers, and unusual account movements.\nPrepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules related to revenue transactions.\nReconcile and administer loyalty program transactions and provisions in line with Accor standards.\nParticipate in surprise cash counts, operational spot checks, and inventory exercises.\nMaintain organized audit documentation and support continuous improvement of financial controls.\nAssist in training and developing team members on audit and revenue control procedures\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.\nProfessional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.\nMinimum of 2-3 years' experience in Income Audit, Revenue Audit, General Accounting, or a similar Finance role within the hospitality industry.\nWorking knowledge of hotel systems such as OPERA and POS systems.\nStrong understanding of hotel revenue cycles, internal controls, and auditing procedures.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.\nHigh level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.\nAbility to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.\n Employee benefit card offering discounted
