Together, we embody the vision of responsible hospitality.\nTake the opportunity to become a Heartist®, and let your heart guide you in this world where life beats faster.\n The Part-Time Overnight Stewarding & Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing overnight Housekeeping cleanliness operations and evening Stewarding operations, with a primary focus on maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and service standards throughout guest-facing and back-of-house areas of the hotel.\nThis position will supervise overnight Housekeeping Cleaners, Public Space/Back-of-House Cleaners, and Stewarding colleagues; assign and monitor daily tasks and checklists; inspect completed work; provide necessary supplies and equipment; and follow up to ensure all assignments are completed accurately and on time.\nThis position consists of three scheduled shifts per week. Two of the three weekly shifts would be to support overnight Housekeeping cleanliness operations, and the remaining shift would be an evening Stewarding Supervisor shift. Additional shifts may be available based on business needs and when other supervisors are away or unavailable.\nThe successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who demonstrates strong attention to detail, accountability, communication, coaching, and the ability to independently manage overnight and evening operations.\nEssential Responsibilities\nOvernight Housekeeping & Cleanliness Operations\nSupervise overnight Housekeeping Cleaners and colleagues responsible for Public Space and Back-of-House cleanliness.\nReview all assigned overnight Housekeeping checklists, projects, and special assignments at the beginning of each shift.\nInspect guest-facing, public, employee, and back-of-house areas throughout the shift to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently maintained.\nAssign daily checklists and tasks based on operational priorities, occupancy, events, and business needs.\nUtilize hotel technology and task-management systems to dispatch tickets and assignments to appropriate colleagues and follow up on completion.\nMonitor task progress throughout the shift and reassign or reprioritize work when necessary.\nConduct follow-up inspections to verify that assigned tasks have been completed correctly and meet hotel standards.\nIdentify deficiencies and immediately communicate with colleagues regarding required corrections.\nEnsure outstanding tasks are completed before the end of the shift or appropriately communicated to the incoming team.\nRespond to urgent overnight cleanliness requests and coordinate with other departments when additional support is required.\nEnsure cleaning chemicals, equipment, tools, amenities, and other necessary supplies are available and properly distributed to the overnight team.\nReport equipment, maintenance, safety, or facility concerns through the appropriate hotel systems and follow up as needed.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in all assigned areas.\nEvening Stewarding Operations\nSupervise evening Stewarding colleagues and ensure all Stewarding areas, equipment, and assigned projects are properly cleaned and maintained.\nReview Stewarding checklists and assignments at the beginning of the shift and distribute work based on operational needs.\nEnsure dishwashing, pot washing, kitchen equipment, floors, drains, garbage/recycling areas, and other Stewarding responsibilities are completed according to established standards.\nInspect Stewarding areas and equipment throughout the shift to ensure proper cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.\nEnsure chemicals, cleaning supplies, personal protective equipment, and equipment necessary for the shift are available and used appropriately.\nFollow up with Stewarding colleagues regarding incomplete or improperly completed assignments.\nCommunicate outstanding issues and operational needs to the Stewarding leadership team.\nAssist with maintaining compliance with hotel sanitation, safety, and chemical-handling standards.\nLeadership, Coaching & Accountability\nProvide clear direction and expectations to overnight Housekeeping and evening Stewarding colleagues.\nTrain and coach colleagues on proper cleaning procedures, checklist expectations, equipment use, chemical handling, and hotel standards.\nProvide timely, constructive feedback when work does not meet expectations.\nRecognize colleagues for strong performance and reinforce positive behaviors.\nFollow up consistently on coaching and previously identified performance opportunities.\nHold colleagues accountable for completing assigned work accurately, safely, and within established timeframes.\nMaintain professional and respectful communication with colleagues across all departments.\nEscalate recurring performance, attendance, safety, or operational concerns to the appropriate department leadership.\nLead by example by demonstrating a strong work ethic, attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to cleanliness standards.\nCommunication & Shift Handover\nComplete and review all required overnight Housekeeping and Stewarding checklists, logs, inspection documentation, and shift reports.\nDocument incomplete assignments, deficiencies, maintenance concerns, supply needs, and other operational issues.\nProvide a clear and detailed handoff to the appropriate Housekeeping and Stewarding leadership teams.\nCommunicate significant overnight or evening issues to the appropriate hotel departments in a timely manner.\nCoordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Security, Food & Beverage, and other departments as necessary to resolve operational needs.\nTechnology & Systems\nUtilize hotel technology and operational systems to receive, dispatch, track, and close service tickets and assignments.\nMonitor task completion and ensure tickets are updated accurately and in a timely manner.\nUtilize communication tools and hotel systems to document operational issues, follow-up items, and completed work.\nAssist colleagues with understanding and properly utilizing technology and task-management systems.\nReview electronic and/or physical checklists to ensure required assignments are completed and documented.\n Previous supervisory or leadership experience in Housekeeping, Stewarding, Hospitality, Facilities, or a related field preferred.\nPrevious hotel or hospitality experience strongly preferred.\nStrong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safe chemical handling.\nAbility to work independently and make sound operational decisions during overnight and evening hours.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to identify cleanliness and maintenance deficiencies.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nAbility to effectively prioritize multiple assignments and changing operational needs.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nDemonstrated ability to coach, train, and provide constructive feedback.\nAbility to work collaboratively with multiple departments and levels of hotel leadership.\nComfortable using technology, task-management systems, communication tools, and electronic checklists.\nAbility to work overnight, evening, weekends, holidays, and additional shifts based on business needs.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.\nAbility to regularly bend, stoop, push, pull, lift, and carry supplies and equipment as required.\nAbility to navigate guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, back-of-house areas, and other hotel workspaces throughout the shift.\nAbility to safely handle and work around cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with hotel procedures and
