This is a mandatory step for your candidacy to be considered as it enables us to explore your compatibility with this role and our culture of luxury excellence.\nWe invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles Europejski Warsaw as our new Purchasing Manager.\nKey Responsibilitie:\nManage and ensure the efficient operation of the Purchasing and Storeroom Department in all aspects.\nRegularly review all purchase contracts and bid proposals from vendors to ensure competitive pricing for all operating areas of the hotel and compliance with budget limitations.\nNegotiate prices, place daily orders based on requirements, and ensure prompt delivery as requested.\nEnsure that Purchase Orders are properly completed and in accordance with policies before purchases are made.\nMonitor vendors for quality, service, and price through standard purchasing specifications.\nCooperate with all departments to ensure that product specifications are consistent and accurate.\nEnsure that sufficient operating supplies are in stock, and coordinate orders with each department.\nMaintain an up-to-date summary of current prices on food, beverages, and inventory stock.\nResearch new products and services for the hotel.\nAssist with Operating Capital Expenditures.\nSupport the company in implementing and developing sustainable hospitality practices in the purchasing area.\nInteract professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors.\nFollow purchasing policies and procedures in accordance with hotel policies.\nDevelop a working knowledge of all internal procedures and governmental regulations in the area of purchasing.\n Previous management experience in Hotel Purchasing is preferred.\nStrong administrative, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to changes with flexibility, timeliness, and efficiency.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.\nStrong organizational, administrative, and time management skills; excels in a fast-paced, challenging, and team-oriented environment.\nSolid knowledge of purchasing procedures.\n Employee Benefits:\nJoin our team and enjoy a range of exclusive colleague perks, including complimentary upgrades, extended stays, discounted stays across Fairmont & Raffles properties, special dining and wellness discounts, and added luxuries to enhance your experience.
