Together, we embody the vision of responsible hospitality.\nTake the opportunity to become a Heartist®, and let your heart guide you in this world where life beats faster.\n PURPOSE OF THE ROLE\nThe Security Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Security Management team in ensuring the safety, security, and protection of guests, employees, assets, and resort property.\nThe role requires constant vigilance, strong leadership, operational discipline, and full compliance with Rixos standards, local regulations, and ISO Integrated Management Systems.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n1. Security Operations & Supervision\nSupervise day-to-day security operations across all assigned areas of the resort\nEnsure continuous monitoring of hotel premises, including public areas, back-of-house, staff entrances, and CCTV operations\nControl access of contractors, suppliers, and visitors; issue and monitor visitor passes\nSupervise tanker operations and ensure proper registration and compliance\nEnsure Lost & Found items are correctly recorded, stored, and managed\nConduct frequent patrols and inspections of all security posts\n2. Incident Management & Reporting\nMaintain detailed and accurate incident, accident, and security reports\nEscalate all security-related matters to the Assistant Security Manager / Security Manager in a timely manner\nReview Security Logbook, Duty Manager / Night Manager reports daily and take corrective actions where required\nPreserve crime scenes and evidence in accordance with procedures\n3. Emergency Preparedness & Fire Safety\nEnsure full readiness for all emergency situations (fire, evacuation, medical, security threats)\nConduct regular fire drills, emergency simulations, and live training exercises\nCoordinate closely with Engineering for preventive maintenance of all safety and fire-fighting equipment\nMaintain and regularly update the Emergency Procedures Manual\n4. Team Leadership & Training\nConduct daily briefings and shift handovers with the Security team\nTrain new joiners and existing staff on:Resort security regulations\nFire prevention and safety procedures\nEmergency response and crisis management\nBasic firefighting and life-saving techniques\nReport writing and professional conduct\n\nMonitor grooming standards, discipline, and performance of the Security team\n5. Coordination & Stakeholder Management\nLiaise with resort management, department heads, and employees on security matters\nCoordinate with local authorities, law enforcement, and Fire & Safety departments when required\nEnsure security coverage is planned and adequate for all events, activities, and VIP movements\n6.
