Each Rixos property presents a unique experience inspired by local culture, global influences, and our Turkish heritage, all within a setting of unparalleled luxury.\n Position Overview\nThe Kitchen & Laundry Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and optimal operation of all kitchen and laundry equipment throughout the resort. Working under the guidance of the Engineering leadership, this role ensures that all related mechanical and electrical systems function efficiently, safely, and in accordance with Rixos brand standards, supporting seamless operations and an exceptional guest experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Operations & Maintenance\nExecute all mechanical, electrical, and associated maintenance work for kitchen and laundry equipment to the highest professional standards.\nDiagnose technical issues and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or operational concerns.\nPerform assigned tasks independently while ensuring full compliance with engineering procedures and safety standards.\nEnsure timely completion of daily tasks and maintenance schedules.\nEquipment, Inventory & Workshop Management\nMonitor and control spare parts, tools, and consumables within the workshop.\nRaise requisitions and ensure adequate stock levels for uninterrupted operations.\nMaintain tools and equipment in good working condition at all times.\nOperational Support & Coordination\nAct immediately on issues and concerns related to kitchen and laundry operations.\nSupport guest requirements related to equipment functionality when required.\nWork collaboratively with Engineering colleagues and other departments to ensure operational efficiency.\nAssist with Task Force Teams during new openings or special operational projects.\nCarry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by Engineering leadership.\nSafety, Emergency & Compliance\nBe fully familiar with the hotel’s emergency procedures and remain prepared to respond effectively to any emergency situations.\nEnsure all work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.\nAdhere strictly to Rixos Engineering Policies & Procedures and Operational Standards Manuals.\nISO Integrated Management System (IMS) Compliance\nComply with all ISO Integrated Management System requirements, including:Quality Management (ISO 9001)\nEnvironmental Management (ISO 14001)\nFood Safety Management (ISO 22000)\nCustomer Complaint Handling (ISO 10002)\n\nActively participate in:Risk management and safety programs\nEnvironmental impact assessments\nPollution prevention initiatives\nEnergy and water conservation efforts\nContinuous improvement and guest satisfaction initiatives\n\n Education: Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.\nExperience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel, resort, or large commercial facility.\nLanguage: Working knowledge of English.\nTechnical Competencies:Strong knowledge of kitchen and laundry equipment systems\nSolid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
